We had a great time Saturday evening at the 5 Cyclone year end BBQ and Talent Show. The staff of 5 Cyclone formed their own band for this occasion, called the AeroBeatles Stones.
So why do I have a photo of someone's house on my blog? This house in suburban Orleans contains the most fantastic scrapbook store in the world and she's closing her business! Want to scoop some items before she's sold out? Check out The Paper Passion before she's cleaned out of everything.
I shot about 300 photos today, but this one brings tears to my eyes. Rachel is retiring from cadets this year and to mark that, the Squadron did an Honourary March Past for her and the other two retiring cadets.
I had my 100-400 lens on my camera today when I was out delivering orders. Thought I'd go up Earl Armstrong Road to see what's happening at the Bluebird nesting boxes. They're all gone-taken away! I was so disappointed! But I did get this lovely shot of an Eastern Kingbird. I also had a 1.4 teleconverter on the lens. The focus is a bit soft as I had to manual focus. I must look up on POTN the way to tape the contacts so you don't lose auto focus.
I had all my piggy banks down yesterday to clean them and took photos of them all! These are very old, and very rare Gattuso olives jars from the 1950's. Layout is coming on my scrapbook blog!
