Have I mentioned what a PITA this is? The main bridge in Russell is closed for repairs which means a detour around the town to get to the schools. AND it means that I have to pick up Lucas at school on the days that he works because the bus is 45 minutes later than it used to be!

Cadets are starting up again for the season. Tonight was the welcome back BBQ. Rachel wanted a photo of her with Kiersten and Jordan. They are back from a summer in Cold Lake, AB on the Senior Leaders Course that Rachel did in the summer of 2009.

Andy pointed this out - when you're watching a movie and they're running through a corn field, why is the corn planted so far apart? Here in our neck of the woods, there is barely 4" between stalks.
